Burley is the jewel in the crown of the New Forest. Throughout
its history, Burley Manor has enjoyed many regal connections - it
once was a Royal Manor and its estate was probably laid out in Saxon
Times...

The current building was erected in 1852, but over the past 20
years it has been considerably upgraded and refurbished.
Now
the hotel has the grand style of yester year, with a relaxing ambience
and modern comfortable amenities. It's baronial-style entrance is
a good indicator of what lies inside: a comfortable lounge complete
with antiques and large bay windows overlooking stunning scenery;
a delightful restaurant featuring a superb fireplace; a converted
stable block with bedrooms which have balconies leading down into
the peaceful grounds.
Packed
with antiques, it has such artifacts as a sword locker where gentlemen
should deposit their weaponry before dining!
Two recent additions to the hotel include a new wing
of luxurious Premier Rooms and a Victorian-style conservatory where
you can dine in a perfect setting.
Animals are synonymous with Burley Manor. Like all
Forestdale Hotels, Burley welcomes dogs. We can also look after
your horse, livery is on site and the hotel overlooks a paddock
where a herd of New Forest deer graze. Nearby is the New Forest
Owl Sanctuary.
Burley village - a peaceful collection of tea rooms,
antique and curiosity shops is a short walk away.
